Renewed partnership with Dassault 厂测蝉迟猫尘别蝉 puts next-gen engineers in the cloud
The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide and Dassault听厂测蝉迟猫尘别蝉听have extended their partnership, giving students access to some of the most powerful software available for systems engineering design and advanced manufacturing.
Signing up in 2018, the six-year partnership has seen about 1500 students each year use the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to undertake digital design, simulation, collaboration and project management across a range of courses from first year through to honours engineering and higher degree research projects.
The renewed partnership agreement to 2027 consolidates a move to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform on cloud, allowing students to contribute towards advanced collaborative design work from anywhere at any time.
The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide鈥檚 David Harvey who is Associate Professor in Engineering Systems says the partnership has already been extremely valuable for students.
鈥淪tudents are able to work using the kind of software platforms that they will find in their first jobs, and they have been able to create and collaborate on projects that match the type of work they will be expected to do,鈥 Associate Professor Harvey says.
鈥淭he extension of the partnership will now give students access to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform on cloud, providing capacity to work on their designs from anywhere, and allowing them to connect with industry and other collaborators.
鈥淵ou can鈥檛 overestimate the value of access to this kind of technology.
鈥淪tand out student projects that have been developed using the software include the design and virtual twin creation of a cuttlefish-inspired underwater vehicle and digital prototyping for advanced agriculture using autonomous tractors.
鈥淚t supercharges student projects; it encourages them to think about real-world challenges and let their ideas fly.鈥
鈥淒assault 厂测蝉迟猫尘别蝉 is committed to shaping the workforce of the future through our cutting-edge technology. With the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, we empower individuals to prepare them for the challenges of today and equip them to drive the innovations of tomorrow,鈥 said Samson Khaou, Executive Vice President, Asia-Pacific, Dassault 厂测蝉迟猫尘别蝉.
鈥淐ollaborating with esteemed institutions like the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, we believe in providing the essential skills necessary to turn their visions into reality and lead the way towards a brighter, more innovative future.鈥
The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide鈥檚 Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Jennie Shaw says the Dassault 厂测蝉迟猫尘别蝉 partnership has been a boon for students.
鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted to renew this partnership both for the benefit of our students but also the significant flow-on this has in delivering innovative work ready graduates.鈥
